GAMMA PHI BETA 3 W e kicked off the new semester by welcoming new members into Psi Chapter through spring recruitment, led by our newly elected membership vice president, Aubrey Blankenship '21, and Recruitment Chairman Taylor Hankins '20. During the recruitment process, we were excited to welcome new members who demonstrated our four core values. ON-CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT Our members' campus involvement increased especially through the Campus Activities Council. We have many Gamma Phi sisters serving on the executive council for CAC Scandals, including Grace Folger '20, our vice chairman of engagement, as well as members serving on performance and outreach committees. On-campus philanthropies play a large role in our involvement on campus, especially through the OU Dance Marathon and OU Relay for Life. Recently, Psi Chapter demonstrated the value of volunteering by being the second-highest registration for the Big Event, OU's largest volunteering event. This last fall, we had success with our annual chili cookoff, which allowed us to donate to a local nonprofit organization, United Way of Norman. We enjoyed inviting on-campus organizations to participate in a friendly competition. This April, we also hosted a Moonball competition, where organizations participated in a kickball tournament to donate money to Girls on the Run. SISTERHOOD BRINGS US CLOSER Sisterhood plays a large role in our everyday lives, especially through our bonding events this semester. A favorite this year was Big/Little for our spring new members. This event lets us demonstrate our values of love and learning by pairing new members with an older sister to help guide them through their college career. Another sisterhood event that we hosted was a Galantines Day sisterhood event on Valentine's Day where our members shared treats, sent words of affirmation to other sisters, and had a fun space to hang out during a busy weekend. IIKE, Zoe Nguyen '21 President ougphipresident@gmail.com Big/Little duo Bailey Breen '21 and Megan Mallon '22 have stars in their eyes on Crescent Night.
