ock Chalk Revue is a highly anticipated
philanthropy event among all students
on campus. This year, Sigma Kappa had the
privilege of teaming up with Kappa Delta
to participate in the event. The performers'
hard work paid off, as Xi Chapter's team was
declared the overall winner of this year's
production. Thank you to all the actives who
were involved!
Annelise Amack '20, Alexis Rogers '20,
and Grace Shaugnessy '20, along with peers
from Kappa Delta, spent countless hours
formulating, choreographing, auditioning, and
rehearsing to deliver a spectacular performance
at Rock Chalk Revue. Their show, titled En
Vogue, depicted the challenges faced by a New
York-based fashion company in designing and
producing the most stylish clothes to keep up
with the latest trends. Their performance left the
entire audience thoroughly impressed.
A total of 50 members, 25 from Xi and 25 from
Kappa Delta, collaborated to bring En Vogue
to life. The production won an impressive
seven trophies: Overall Winner, Best Chorus
Performance, Best Vocal Performance, Best
Production Number, Best Supporting Female
(Grace Shaugnessy '20), Best Female
Performance (Anna Avery from KD), and Best
Comedic Performance (Grace Folsom from
KD). The team's outstanding performance
and achievements are a testament to their
dedication, talent, and creativity.
