Q: Is there any news about the remaining "1923" episodes being available? And will there be any new episodes of "Yel- lowstone"? – Mary Margolis, Sacra- mento, Calif. A: Expect the second (and, as planned, final) season of "1923" to arrive late this year or early next year. That would be about a year after the Paramount+ "Yellowstone" prequel premiered, and such a shooting schedule would accommodate cast members' other projects and also take advantage of the seasonal weather that is such a part of the story. However, the situation with "Yellowstone" itself is very much up in the air as of this writing. Reportedly, star Kevin Costner wanted to compact his filming for the second half of the Paramount Network show's Season 5 into a con- densed schedule, which the show's makers apparently found unworkable. Rumors have swirled about the series coming to an end, or of Matthew McConaughey joining the show as a replacement (presumably as a new character), but those have been unconfirmed.
