2023 Dogwood Festival • 9 Stretching out for miles across the landscape, the Grand River Dam Authority's power lines deliver the abundant and reliable electricity that thousands of our neighbors depend on every single day. These lines reach into public power communities, like Siloam Springs, as well as industries and electric cooperatives; supplying them all with the power we are proud to produce, 24/7/365. It's what GRDA has be en doing for over 80 years. We are proud to celebrate the longstanding and beneficial public power that has helped deliver the benefits of public power to the community since 1989. Celebrating Public Power Celebrating Public Power Dogwood 5K, 10K & Fun run The Dogwood 5K, 10K and Fun Run will be held Saturday, April 29, at the 48th annual Dogwood Festival in Siloam Springs. Check-in will open at 7 a.m. at Bob Henry Park, 500 W. Benton St., at the large pavilion next to the tennis courts. The 5K and 10K runs will start at 8 a.m. The Fun Run will begin after the comple- tion of the 5K. The entry fee for the 5K and 10K runs is $25, plus a $3.60 signup fee; the Fun Run is free to enter. EVENT DETAILS Divisions: • Male 5K • Female 5K • Male 10K • Female 10K • Fun Run 5K & 10K Age Divisions: • 12 and under • 13 - 10 • 20 - 29 • 30 - 39 • 40 - 49 • 50 - 59 • 60+ Medals: • Top three overall in the male and female divisions • First place male and fe- male in each age division Graham Thomas/Herald-Leader Joseph Deitzer was the top overall finisher at last year's Dogwood Festival 5K at Bob Henry Park.
