A fter a few years of dealing with the pandemic, things are feeling normal again around Texas Alpha. The brothers continue to excel both on and off campus, all while remaining committed to SigEp. Whether it is holding a leadership position within the longhorn community or excelling in academics, the active members show what it means to be a dedicated member of our fraternity. The chapter's cumulative GPA remains high as well! We recently posted a 3.47, a high ranking among UT fraternities. Moreover, our fall new member class recorded a GPA of 3.55. Brothers are working diligently in the classroom, which ensures academic success in the future. Our 190 active members strive to better the community around them through philanthropy. Earlier this school year, we hosted a philanthropy event that raised over $9,000 for the Ronald McDonald House. The chapter also organized and hosted a blood drive in partnership with We Are Blood. Our men continue to seek opportunities to give back and engage with our community. We strive to share our natural leadership abilities and talents at UT! The many organizations our members have joined include: • Reformed University Fellowship • Student Government • Texas Silver Spurs • Undergraduate Geologic Society • University Investors Association • Zavala After-School Program • University of Texas Ducks Unlimited Chapter As of this writing, summer recruitment plans are in the works, and we look forward to welcoming more quality men to our quality chapter. Thank you to all the alumni out there for your unwavering support, and we look forward to seeing you for chapter house visits and tailgates.
