In 2022, the Lincoln
Chamber of Commerce became
more aggressive in courting new
businesses to come to Lincoln.
And the fruits of their labor are
already starting to show.
"We are seeing growth," said
Katrina Asher, president of the
Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.
"In the last several months we
have welcomed Legacy Bank,
Family Dollar Tree and La Villa
Mexican Restaurant."
Asher is no stranger to the
experience of running a business
in Lincoln. Six years ago, she took
over the iconic American Drive-
in right on Highway 62. It is a
throwback to the '50s, literally,
having been in business since
1958. e fast food hamburger
establishment still delights
customers with its kitschy decor
and traditional drive-in fare.
e Chamber is also excited
about the growth of new housing
in Lincoln that will attract more
families to this charming hamlet
in west Washington County.
