Page 12 March 20 - 26, 2023 Apparently the last drama series to receive an all-weekend "Binge" on Decades – which will be rebranded as the Catchy Comedy Network on March 27 – "Mod Squad" gets a 42-hour showcase starting Saturday, March 25. Produced by Aaron Spelling and Danny Thomas, the show was highly reflective of its era, the late 1960s and early 1970s. Michael Cole, Clarence Williams III and Peggy Lipton play Pete, Linc and Ju- lie, three young people recruited by police captain Adam Greer (Tige Andrews) to probe then-contemporary crimes often involving others of their age. A big hit in its time, the program benefited greatly from the easy camaraderie among its stars, who got back together for a 1979 TV-movie sequel.
