3 COLORADO DELTA S o far this year, Colorado Delta has achieved the highest GPA of all fraternity and sorority life (FSL) with a 3.41 cumulative and a 3.35 in the fall. This was above the campus average of 3.23. Alongside academic success, our Chapter has also been involved with the school through participating in Nightmare on Greek Street, an event hosted by FSL to give back to the community in the form of Halloween entertainment. For this event, Colorado Delta created a haunted house that received plenty of praise from Mines for its structure and atmosphere throughout. We initiated 13 members this past spring as a part of our spring recruitment class, with over 40 people showing up to our events throughout the week. In more exciting news, last semester during the FSL awards, Matthew Crabtree '25 won Greek Man of the Year, and Colorado Delta won Chapter of the Year. Our executive board attended Carlson Leadership Academy, which provided us with valuable leadership skills to better our Chapter. On top of this, our executive board recently went on a district retreat with Colorado Gamma Chapter at CSU. This retreat allowed us to bounce ideas around about effectively running a Chapter and some of the ways to go about dealing with adversity as well as to better recruit Balanced Men during recruitment. Colorado Delta was proud to earn our SigEp Learning Community accreditation this year. Our Chapter has seen plenty of progress, and we have taken a big step in our pursuit of a Buc Cup this coming summer at Conclave.
