Located in the historic downtown of Rogers, Arkansas, e Shire Gastropub is the fourteenth business to set up shop in the 130-year-old historic building where they reside. e long, storied history of occupants in the building has included mercantile goods shops and restaurants and even a funeral home. But over the past four years a new and exciting chapter in the life of this building has been written by this exceptional eatery/pub that is tantalizing taste buds and providing good times to its patrons. "We offer made from scratch foods, curated by a Brightwater trained chef," began Greg Vukin, who together with Dustin Simmons owns and manages e Shire Gastropub. "We also feature the biggest dra beer selection in downtown Rogers as well as two full-service bars that feature craed and classic cocktails. We have three floors and offer event space packages. All in all, we are a restaurant, bar and party space, looking to feed you during the day and early evening and let you party and have a good time aer dark." Starting with the food, e Shire Gastropub has taken the selection of their executive chef, sous chef and talented line cooks very seriously. "ey are really adventurous chefs that were well known in town or started out at Brightwater, the culinary school in Bentonville," Greg said. And the result has been entrees that are as delicious as they are unique—like the pan seared pork belly with their house cheesy grits, drizzled with bourbon glaze and topped with fresh microgreens or the pan seared cauliflower steak, served with their house Romesco sauce, pan roasted cherry tomatoes and sauteed broccolini. ey also serve up their own version of traditional pub favorites like bangers and mash and fish and chips. And when it comes to beverages, the creative flair and wide selection of e Shire Gastropub will please everyone. "We offer a selection of 24 amazing dra beers, as well as cans and bottles," Meghan the bar manager said.
