F
or Alpha Omicron to remain competitive and
provide a safe and up-to-date experience at our
home in Columbus, we intend to retain experts to
support the development of a vision and design for a
major renovation project. We hope to ensure our home
on 15th Avenue represents our 100-year history while
updating various items to support the current and future
excellence of our members.
Priorities Priorities
• Upgrade and invest in the property's safety needs,
including electrical, plumbing, and roofing issues.
• Modernize residential spaces and bathrooms by
reimagining the second- and third-floor areas.
• Improve communal house spaces on the main floor
and basement to accommodate our growing chapter.
• Consider expanding the kitchen to optimize gathering
and creating flexible, multipurpose space to meet the
needs of our collegians.
Estimated Cost: $1.5 million
"Our current members want a house
they can be proud of, a facility that can
compete when potential members are
making membership choices. Additionally,
we want the members to be excited to
live-in, see this space as a place to gather,
and conduct the business of the chapter.
We want all our Alpha Omicron women
to know they have a home where they are
welcome and always will be."
