It was a great time representing our Chapters this year. Congratulations to our 2022-23 sweetheart, Trynity Chastain. We look forward to all the great things you're going to bring to our campus and our Chapter! Sigma Chi appreciates you. Congratulations, graduating brothers of pledge class '22! T he fall 2022 semester was full of opportunities for our Gamma Delta brothers. We started the semester with move- in on August 16-17, and by September, we were fully prepared for Chapter activities. We greatly enjoyed Dad's Weekend and our golf tournament the weekend of September 17-18. Just one week later, initiation was held on September 24. Gamma Delta proudly welcomed 33 new members into the brotherhood. We look forward to seeing what these new brothers can accomplish! Homecoming 2022 offered a perfect chance for Gamma Delta to showcase our campus involvement. We finished in fourth place with Alpha Chi Omega for Follies on October 18, and we're proud to announce we took home first place in Harvest Carnival with Kappa Kappa Gamma! As the semester progressed, so too did our community outreach. We had our Into the Streets community service event on November 8, and we look forward to more opportunities around Stillwater in the spring. New Chapter officers were elected on November 14. Finals week occurred on December 13-16. As our brothers balanced studies, social lives, and community service this semester, we are confident that test grades will reflect Gamma Delta's dedication to academic success. This event will be held on the evening of February 18, 2023, at the OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater. Registration and cocktail hour begins at 5 p.m., followed by a plated dinner and full program. This will include discussions on leadership from Sigma Chi Headquarters and our local Gamma Delta Chapter. Tickets must be reserved by February 1 at tinyurl.com/SXOSU100Ann. Ticket price includes admission, hors d'oeuvres, and a plated dinner. A cash bar will also be available. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Atherton Hotel. These can be booked by calling the Atherton at (405) 744-6835 and referencing the block of rooms under Gamma Delta 100th Celebration.
