ALUMNI NEWS
Dick Weinberg '50 lives on the beach in
Carpinteria, Calif. He is still going at 93 in
decent health, and he's still cheering for the
University of Michigan.

Bernard "Butch" Fick '62 moved to Conroe,
Texas, close to the Houston area. He's glad to
get away from Chicago and the cold Midwest.

William Earle '63 and his wife, Cassandra,
spend their summers at their cottage in Elk
Lake. The rest of the year, they are at their
home in Key Biscayne, Fla. "Beating Ohio
was the best feeling in years!"

Lewis Shaefer '67 resides in Prosperity,
S.C. He did defense work as an optical
physicist, and after Vietnam ended, he formed
a company to sell analytical instruments.
Lewis and Susan adopted three orphans from
Russia. During his time at home, Lewis started
restoring antique clocks, which he still does
today part time.
John Dicke '70 retired from criminal law
practice in January 2021, after a 47-year
career. He still has an active practice as a
clinical and forensic psychologist. John has
published four psychological thrillers, with
his fifth on the way soon: Donald Trump in
Psychotherapy. He has three children and five
grandchildren with his wife, Cari.

Ron Wiens '77 recently moved to Knoxville,
Tenn., to be closer to his grandchildren. He
enjoys the mountains and hiking. Ron has
also been officiating track meets with USA
Track and Field—some with Rich Schott '74.
