In addition to numerous era groups of sisters who attended, 20 former chapter presidents were on hand to mark the occasion. Alumnae sisters reconvened on the sunny roof deck at The Heidelberg that afternoon to continue the reunion of sisters. The new 906 is approximately 40,000 square feet and features 26 three-women bedrooms and two four-women suites, with ample bathrooms for 86 occupants and laundry rooms on both the second and third floors. The first-floor dining room comfortably seats 200, and when completed, the lower level will include a chapter room with capacity for all 270+ collegians. More than a century since our founding, Omicron lives on as a "home away from home" where sisterhood begins, and as a place to gather, grow, and reunite…together. AOE. "It was an amazing day to reunite with our sisters, celebrate a new beginning, and dream about all the wonderful experiences the next generation of Alpha Phis will make in their new home." –Jennifer McNay '94 HOW THE LOANS WILL BE REPAID All members pay either room and board (for in-house members) or parlor fees (for out-of-house members) for use of the facility. The chapter collects these fees and then pays "rent" to the House Corporation Board (HCB), the organization that owns, operates, and maintains the chapter house. HCB, which carries the full debt load, is responsible for paying down the loans over time, much like a mortgage. C ELEB RA TI NG OUR N E W H OM E A W AY F ROM HO M E
