Sisters reunite for a day of football,
food, and fun!

appa Delta welcomed
alumnae to the house
for a game day meal before
the Kentucky and Alabama
football games. More than
100 Alpha Mu alumnae
visited the Chapter House
for each game. Brunch was
served for the Kentucky
game, and we enjoyed a
barbecue lunch before the
Alabama game. Everyone
enjoyed seeing old friends!
Kappa Delta Sister Crowned Miss University
MEET ALLY HOPPER '19
Congratulations, Ally Hopper '19!
O
ur Alpha Mu sister, Ally Hopper '19, was
recently crowned Miss University 2023.
During the pageant, contestants are judged on a
private interview, an onstage interview, a talent
competition, and a social impact statement.
Miss University was only Ally's third time
competing in a pageant. She won a preliminary
pageant in fall 2021 and competed in the Miss
Mississippi pageant in June 2022, where she
placed in the top 10.
Ally will represent the University of
Mississippi at the Miss Mississippi pageant in
June 2023 in Vicksburg. The winner of that
pageant will represent the state in the Miss
America pageant.
Since being crowned Miss University, Ally
has been busy with appearances in the Oxford
community. She hosted a Girl Scout troop
event at the ΚΔ house in December, where she
worked with young girls on their confidence
badge and their dance and mobility badge.
Ally is a senior from Mandeville, Louisiana.
She joined Alpha Mu Chapter as a freshman
and currently lives in the Chapter House. She
has been a member of the Ole Miss Rebelette
Dance Team for four years and currently serves
as captain. She is a political science major and
will graduate in May 2023, with plans to attend
law school.
We are so excited for Ally and look forward to
her appearance at the Miss Mississippi pageant
next summer!
