nother fall has come around, which means
another strong semester here at the Shelter.
We've been happy to welcome and initiate a
new class from all over the country. Of course,
it's also thrilling to watch the Jayhawk football
team exceed everyone's expectations. Our
tailgates have been a lively and raucous success,
with alumni and collegians alike enjoying both
the games and the atmosphere at the house.
Having College GameDay on the Hill was
definitely a highlight of the year so far!
Tailgates will be held at every home game
for the rest of the year, and alumni are
encouraged to come and have a good time
at the house if you want to watch the game.
We recently completed a new grilling station
in the backyard as well as a new fence and
improvements to our outdoor bar. Many
members participated a résumé workshop
hosted by David Robinson '96, in which they
learned valuable professional skills for life
after college.
In terms of philanthropy, we organized a charity
blood drive for our members on November 14.
We are excited to keep striving for greatness
and pushing the Shelter forward with charitable
developments, house improvements, and new
members. Rah Delt and Rock Chalk!
