The Weekend at a Glance
Homecoming 2022 was a great weekend consisting of about 200
brothers and families coming back to the house to reminisce on the
good ol' days of Rose. Throughout the time of everybody being back,
many events took place. To start off the weekend, a large number of
'70s and '80s alumni gathered at Stables Steakhouse for a nice meal
and good conversations. They were able to reserve the private, top
floor of Stables and just enjoy the presence of their brothers. At the
same time, a large number of younger alumni came to the house to
renew friendships with the active chapter.
As brothers were reconvening at the house Saturday morning, guided
tours of the newly renovated house were conducted. Key places in-
cluded the new foyer, the lower level library, and the modernization
of the sleeping rooms. In the early afternoon we were given an update
on the capital campaign, the financial state of the fraternity, as well as
other key points. This presentation was brought to us by the Housing
Board Corporation led by President, Tyler Kimbrell '11. As stated on
the page above, the highlight of homecoming was honoring Kenny
Miller with a basketball court dedication in the afternoon of Saturday.
After this dedication, many brothers made their way down to the foot-
ball field for a tailgate. Later, they were able to cheer on senior Zak-
ery Koehler and the rest of the Fightin' Engineers to a blowout 48-14
win over Manchester University. A great ending to a fun-filled Home-
coming Saturday.
