Your House Corporation Board in Action W H A T W E D I D T H I S S U M M E R T he primary role of the House Corporation Board is maintaining our Sigma Kappa chapter house as a beautiful, safe, and welcoming living space for the chapter. We truly want the house to be a place that our collegiate sisters are proud to call home, and one that alumnae want to return to again and again. In addition to hosting the Alumnae Work Weekend this summer, the board also made sure the house was polished and ready for move-in and recruitment in August. Floors and couches were cleaned, we painted all of the bedrooms and bathrooms, and new landscape bedding was installed. They also tackled needed AC renovation and improvements, with significant upgrades launched over the summer that will be finalized during winter break while everyone is away. Board members capped off the summer activities during move-in by greeting all returning sisters with fun "Recruitment Survival" goody bags and by sharing special welcome gifts for in-house sisters.
