KANSAS BETA
2022 SigEp Safari winners!
Brother Greg Pestinger '86 shares why it's so important to get involved now more than ever.
Also, please review/update your contact information on the form inside. You can return it via
email or mail, but we want to hear from you.
L
ast semester, the executive team, with the
help of AVC and Greg Pestinger '86,
implemented the Balanced Man Program. This
is a three-year continuous growth model that
keeps members active in the Chapter until
they graduate, and states that new members
are equal to everyone from when they sign a
bid card. With these changes, this semester
has gone very well. So far, we have a 100%
retention rate and are working on a big
spring recruitment class.
Learning Community
We also worked very hard to get an SLC
(conditional) accreditation, meaning we'll
have a SigEp learning community at Kansas
Beta where we bring in speakers and host
things for not just us, but the whole campus
as well. When submitting an SLC application,
there is a lot of work that goes into it, and
we were only truly hoping to apply; to our
surprise, we were accredited (conditionally)
on our first try!
Annual Philanthropy Week
We also started an annual philanthropy week,
called SigEp Safari, which raised about
$10,000 for our national philanthropy, Big
Brothers Big Sisters. So far the fall 2022
semester has gone very smoothly, and we only
hope to continue our growth.
Fraternally,
