i Chapter had the opportunity to attend
National Convention in person this year.
Thanks to your donations to the Educational
Corporation, we were able to fully fund the
trip (lodging, airfare, and registration) for our
vice president of intellectual development. We
also supported two other members' flights.
Below, Kaylee Vampola '19 shares some key
takeaways from her experience.
"Going to the National Convention was an
amazing experience. I learned a great deal about
my chapter's role within the national sorority
as well as opportunities to stay involved after
my collegiate years. I really enjoyed meeting
women from other chapters all over the nation
and getting to see the impact the organization
has on women as alumnae. It excited me to get
involved with an alumnae chapter wherever I
settle down after graduation.
The speakers during national chapter meetings,
as well as the workshops they provided, were
truly inspiring. We learned about how to audit
our lives and our chapters to ensure we are
focused on our best interests as well as how
to own fear rather than letting it destabilize.
Overall, I am so thankful for this experience,
and I am looking forward to the opportunity to
return someday as an alumna."
We hope to support two to three women each
year, based on your generous donations.

currently serving Omaha as well as
Lincoln and surrounding areas. 2022
dues are now being accepted. Dues are
only $30 and support our local alumnae
chapter, national alumnae assistance,
Nebraska's largest domestic violence
shelter, and events for Xi members. If
you are interested in connecting with
your sisters, meeting new sisters, and
reminiscing about your college years,
