CHI OMEGA 3 Χ Ω Organize and create events that sisters want to get involved in. N u Chapter continues to provide a constant support system, as both a family and a community. Each individual member, the executive board, and Cardinal Cabinet work hand in hand to make everyone's experience as personable as possible. SISTERHOOD EVENTS We look forward to our permanent bond bracelets event, where we will be collaborating with Palmona Wilder. Another sisterhood favorite was last year's ice rink event. (Which has turned into a sisterhood story of the ages when the event got taken over by a Spraul!) RECRUITMENT Throughout this current academic year, and for the future, we are bringing back Chapter traditions that were second nature to Nu before the pandemic struck. In terms of recruitment, we did an exceptional job at making the process as democratic and inclusive as possible, giving everyone a say. Sisters were eager to spread the word that, "Chi Omega is the place to be," as well as the "Community that makes everyone feel at home and where they can be their authentic selves." CONNECTING We were proud to showcase everything we stand for as we made pledge class 2022 feel much more than just a group of girls. Before initiation, our new member educator, Rachel Hale '20, set up Owl Pal dates for each woman to connect with those in the 2021 class. This helped them get to know each other without the restrictions of recruitment and made the big/ little process as smooth as possible. Our Chapter has also started to bring back our sisterhood support, creating 10 small groups to give the women a smaller, more intimate group to rely on to make the adjustment much smoother. PHILANTHROPY We are so excited for our annual Walk It Out fundraiser and our Make-A-Wish Fashion Runway Show in collaboration with small businesses in Madison. Thank you for your support of Nu Chapter. We couldn't have done this without the amazing alumnae who help us each step of the way.
