Nu Chapter of Chi Omega at the University of Wisconsin • Fall 2022 THE NU'S Χ Ω Out with the Old in with the Nu! Chapter House Receives Renovations Before After After (Above) What our dining room looked like before and (below) our floors and countertops after the renovation! Such a beautiful difference! H ello sisters! Nu Chapter is always looking for members to join our House Corporation Advisory Board. As a member, it is our responsibility to maintain the house, look toward needed renovations, and connect with alumnae. We typically meet at least one to two times a semester and once over the summer. We also try to have social outings for ourselves along with the Executive Advisory Board. If you are interested in joining our advisory board, we are looking for people who could work alongside those in current positions as they begin the process of transitioning out. Please reach out to Niquanna Walls Barnett, Theta Delta '97 if you have an interest in co-chairing or even being a member at large with the potential of moving into a titled position. Either way, we look forward to connecting with our sisters. Please feel free to reach out or stop for a tour of the house and meet your sisters! MAKE A DIFFERENCE Join the House Corporation Advisory Board O ver the summer, our Chapter House received some amazing renovations thanks to the alumnae who have generously donated to Continuing the Tradition: A Campaign for Nu. In just a few months, we were able to complete the following projects: • Renovated the dining room • Installed new ceiling fans • Added new LED recessed lighting • Installed nine additional wall outlets • Installed 22 type-B lights • Updated fire alarms to meet code • Installed new exterior door to back hall/kitchen • Painted the dining room walls, ceiling, doors, and trim • Sanded and painted existing cabinets white and installed new hinges and pull handles • Replaced counters with granite • Installed new stainless-steel sink and new faucet Please continue to pay your pledge installments—your payments ensure projects get completed! If you have yet to donate and want to support the Chapter today, visit tinyurl.com/nuchaptercampaign to show your support. Whenever you're in Madison, make sure you stop by the house to meet the collegians, see the improvements, and relive your Nu memories.
