Alpha Nu Chapter of ΑΧΩ at the University of Missouri
O
n August 25, 2022, Alpha Nu Chapter
officially marked its 100th anniversary
at the University of Missouri. So much has
changed over the last century, but year after
year, AXO at Mizzou continues to offer a
community where women are inspired to
connect, lead, grow and serve.
To help continue the chapter's success into
the next century, the Centennial Planning
Committee established a scholarship
fund for Alpha Nu seniors
through the Alpha Chi Omega
Foundation. Collegians say the
number one reason they resign their
membership is due to financial
obstacles, especially among seniors.
Hopefully, this scholarship fund
will help relieve the financial
burdens of our collegiate sisters and
improve retention of seniors in the
chapter. As of early May, generous donors have
endowed one scholarship. We hope to raise
money for at least one more.
All donations to the scholarship fund are
tax deductible. Donations to the Alpha Nu
Centennial Scholarship Fund can be paid out
annually for up to five years through the Alpha
Chi Omega Foundation. Alumnae interested in
a payment plan should contact Melissa Ramirez
at mramirez@alphachiomega.org to
arrange.
