s you can see from the chapter
report by Eminent Archon Hunter
Hatchers '24 inside, we have much to be
proud of. I am especially encouraged by
the strong officer lineup for 2022. Kansas
Beta aspires to remain a top chapter
in academics, athletics, social events,
philanthropy, and community service.
Over the last several years, we have
worked aggressively to fill the chapter
house with quality men, significantly
improve the physical structure, and
carefully manage our finances. These
efforts have clearly paid off.
Alumni Events
Kansas Beta's fall alumni weekend was
a tremendous success! We had 65
alumni attend the 2022 Alumni Golf
Tournament at the Manhattan Country
Club. Thanks to Chase Stalder '19 for
leading this event. Over 300 attended
the Alumni and Dad's Weekend
tailgate prior to KSU vs. Texas Tech
football game. Plan to join these annual
events next fall—2023 dates to follow.
Housing Updates
In 2021, the House Corporation approved
upgrading all five of the chapter house
restrooms and replacing the glass block
windows in the formal living and dining
rooms. The total cost of these projects
was approximately $200,000 and were
completed in two phases.
Phase I
Summer 2021 projects completed
included upgrades to the two south-end
restrooms and replacement of the glass
block windows in the formal living room
for a total cost of nearly $90,000.
Phase II
Summer 2022 projects, including
upgrading the three north-end
restrooms and replacing the roof on
the chapter house due storm damage,
were a total cost of $110,000. To
date, we have raised approximately
$75,000 for the summer 2022 projects.
Your donation today will help raise
the remaining $35,000 required to
complete these needed improvements.
