PSI SOONERS GAMMA PHI BETA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA • FALL 2022 W hen we first announced The Next Century of Psi campaign last summer, we set out to raise $1.5 million for much-needed renovations to our beloved chapter house. Here we are, just over a year later, with 332 incredible supporters and more than $1.37 million raised. We are humbled by your generosity. It was even more humbling to share the ribbon-cutting ceremony with so many of you in late August. What a joy to celebrate how far we've come. We had an incredible attendance, and it was amazing being able to reconnect with one another. The house looked amazing, and everyone was gushing over the size of the rooms! We hope you enjoy the photos we collected to share with you here! What You Can Expect After dedicating several years to this fundraising effort, we are prepared to officially close the campaign at the end of the year. We will soon be sending a last-call letter to confirm your capital campaign commitment, eligibility for the donor plaque and, if applicable, your donor plaque listing. This will be the final opportunity to make a first-time or increased commitment to determine your giving society and plaque placement. There Is Still Time to Help Please take this time now to view our list of contributors on pages 4-5. Is your name a part of that list? Are you at the giving level where you would like to be at on the permanent plaque? We are grateful to all our donors, but only those who have made commitments of $2,500 or more will be included on this final piece. If you have the means to add your name or increase your total commitment, please do so now by using the enclosed pledge form or visiting tinyurl.com/PsiSooners. Don't forget, your pledge can be spread across five years, making this the affordable for everyone! Your donation will secure our financial footing well into the future, and it means so much that everyone participates, which will allow Gamma Phi Beta to remain as one of the premier sororities at OU. Thank You Thank you to all who have been a part of this project in the last year. Everything we have accomplished is due to your generosity, and we cannot thank you enough for all the hard work, time, and treasure that you have committed to Psi Chapter. For those who have been watching from afar, please hear us when we say we would be honored to have you join us in this historic moment of our sorority. We have 30 members who serve on the Campus Activities Council executive board, and one of our own, Francesca Losh '19, serves as the CAC chairman. We have 21 members in the Honors College, five members in Presidents Leadership Class, and six members in Presidents Community Scholars. We were also awarded first place in CAC Homecoming in October 2021. WELCOME HOME! Psi welcomed 97 beautiful, intelligent, and involved women into the 2022 member class! We are so excited to have them and cannot wait to see where they take the future of Gamma Phi on the University of Oklahoma's campus. HOUSING UPDATES The Psi Chapter house recently underwent a large renovation. This most recent update means the entire house has been remodeled in the past 10 years! The recent renovations included a state-of-the-art study room, dining room, formal living room, great room, and executive council office. The house now holds 74 women, and the study room has added room for activities such as chapter, U-Sing and Scandals practice, Homecoming rah rally practice, and so much more. Our formal living room still holds many pieces from the original house as well as the beautiful piano. We love learning and growing as a chapter in this new space. It is allowing all of us to spend a lot of time together, and we are very thankful for everyone who made this possible.
