E
very year, the OSU College of Arts and Sciences honors alumni who've excelled in their
endeavors since graduating. Two of our own Delta Tau Delta brothers made this year's list!
Todd Edmonds '16, a graduate with degrees in mathematics
and physics, is on this year's Rising Star list. The Rising Star
distinction recognizes OSU alumni who have graduated in
the last decade and already reached major career milestones,
shown exemplary service to the community, and/or
demonstrated a proven commitment to volunteerism. Todd
went on to earn his MBA at Columbia University and now
works for Goldman Sachs in New York. Outside of work, he
helps former and current athletes with their pre- and post-
career goals.
Greg Walton '85, a graduate in premedical science, was
honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award. These
graduates honor OSU through extraordinary achievements in
their field and a record of distinguished service. Dr. Walton
was critically injured in an oil field explosion, taking a year
off from his undergraduate studies. He later finished his
studies at OU Medical School and transferred credits back to
OSU to become a graduate here as well. Greg has practiced
full-time bariatric surgery in Oklahoma City since 2006.
This year's outstanding alumni were honored in an annual celebration on September 16.
Congratulations, Todd and Greg!
