MS Beta Post The Mississippi Beta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi at the University of Mississippi | Fall 2022 Always True to the Wine and Blue Always True to the Wine and Blue Our members enjoy eating their meals in our renovated dining room! S isters, the Mississippi Beta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi deeply appreciates your support over the past several years. We have accomplished incredible things together, most notably the renovation of our chapter house, which has seen remarkable progress. Our capital campaign, Always True to the Wine and Blue: 60 Years of Mississippi Beta Tradition, officially concluded on July 31. Together, we raised $1,440,731. For all our hard work and dedication to this effort, we should be extremely proud. THE FRUITS OF OUR LABOR Despite the many hurdles faced in the last year, the chapter house is coming together wonderfully—especially the interior. Mississippi Beta now has a finished and furnished dining room, living room, foyer, study rooms, upstairs TV room and upstairs sitting room; everything looks incredible! There are many to thank for our success and progress in this project, including my fellow members of Chapter House Corporation; our contractor, KT Builder; our decorator, Courtney Peters Interior Design of Jackson; and the many alumnae donors and volunteers who gave their time, treasure and talents to the Pi Phi cause—to keep our chapter in tip-top shape well beyond their own collegiate years. STAY TUNED! The women who recently stopped by for Homecoming and Parents Weekend got to view the house updates and continued progress, and we heard nothing but rave reviews and excitement about how beautiful the house looks! In May 2023, we plan to hold a chapter reunion for all sisters to come together and see the amazing transformation of our home—I highly encourage you to attend; you will be amazed. We will share more information closer to the event, so stay tuned! DON'T FORGET... We sincerely thank all donors who have made this possible, but we're not done yet. It is critical that each of us fulfill our pledges. We are relying on these gifts to come in on time to complete the work and fully fund the project.
