T
his year's Sigma Kappa Convention
in Denver, Colorado, was one for the
record books! It was energizing to once
again meet in person in a beautiful location,
connecting with sisters from across the country.
It was especially thrilling for our Beta Tau
Corporation Board, which received the Barbara
Fenters Outstanding Corporation Board Award,
recognizing the board that best exemplifies the
Sigma Kappa National Housing Corporation's
mission, vision, and values!
Beta Tau board attendees Jeanneen Coleman
Watson '87, Paige Norton Seekford '86,
and Andrea Pease Schafer '86 were shocked
and delighted to accept the award on behalf
of the board.
"It is such a privilege to work with this
outstanding team of collaborative and strong
women," said Jeanneen. "Our vision and
strategy to support the BT chapter relies on
the hard work of our dedicated board and the
enthusiasm of alumnae who just want to help
out. We welcome volunteer involvement!
That's part of what makes our board so strong."
The award is now proudly on display at the
chapter house. Check it out on your next visit!
