CoverStory By Jay Bobbin Raymond Lee is having quite a year: Featured in what quickly has become one of the top-grossing movies ever, he's also star- ring in a revival of a televi- sion series that has kept a big fan base. Like his predecessor Scott Bakula, the actor — who is featured alongside Tom Cruise in "Top Gun: Maverick" — gets to play many parts in one in NBC's new version of the fanta - sy-drama "Quantum Leap," premiering Monday, Sept. 19. Decades after Bakula's character Dr. Sam Beckett began assuming other peo- ple's lives while bouncing between different time pe- riods, fellow physicist Ben Seong (Lee) follows in his general footsteps, guided by a hologram as Beckett was. In Ben's case, though, his virtual companion is a repre- sentation of a former flame of his. Addison (played by Caitlin Bassett) succeeds Dean Stockwell's Al from the original show, and the relationship she once had with Ben often complicates her efforts to help him. Ernie Hudson ("Ghostbusters"), Mason Alexander Park and Nanrisa Lee play the other members of the team be - hind the leaping. Actor Lee has come to the new iteration of "Quan- tum Leap" knowing the previous one. "When it first aired, I was a little young for it," he allows. "The second time it came around, it was the show that opened my mind to the world of sci-fi." 'Quantum Leap' makes a jump back onto NBC's schedule The identity of the featured celebrity is found within the answers in the puzzle. In order to take the TV Challenge, unscramble the letters noted with asterisks within the puzzle. InFocus "Family Law" (The CW — series premiere, Oct. 2) This Canadian drama centers on high-paid personal injury lawyer Abigail Bianchi (Jewel Staite), who's good at blaming others — particularly when it comes to her own problems. After Abby shows up drunk in court, she's suspended, fined and can practice law again only if she finds a senior lawyer who is willing to take her on and mentor her for a one year probationary period. Enter Harry Svensson (Victor Garber), who runs the top family law practice in the city and also happens to be Abby's estranged father. Nobody Covers Your Hometown Better! 114 S.
