The "American Idol" alum who became the most recently minted EGOT begins a new day job with the premiere of "The Jennifer Hudson Show" in national syn - dication Monday, Sept. 12 (check local listings). Utilizing much of the staff of the now-ended "Ellen DeGeneres Show," Hud- son allows that it's "surre- al" to her to be launching the program after a long build-up.
