That's evidently how Jennifer Hudson sees it, anyway. The "American Idol" alum who became the most recently minted EGOT begins a new day job with the premiere of "The Jennifer Hudson Show" in national syn - dication Monday, Sept. 12 (check local listings). Utilizing much of the staff of the now-ended "Ellen DeGeneres Show," Hud- son allows that it's "surre- al" to her to be launching the program after a long build-up. "It's like I'm starting a new chapter," the sing- er-actress-producer re- flects. "I'm excited to get out there and just share life and experiences with people. I've been talking about it, and now, let's just get out there and do it!" Also cited as the cre- ator of the show, Chicago native Hudson says its style will be "just very open, to include everyone. I feel like it resembles a lot of my life and who I am, someone who needs other human beings. What I do for a living is full of celebrity, but I like to see the whole world come together, so the show will be a reflection of that. We all have a story, and I'm intrigued and inspired by that."
