Was that Raquel Welch's first film? – Ken Ryan, via email A: "Fantastic Voyage" preceded it the same year (1966), and though she also is known for that film, it was the marketing of the prehistoric adventure – which featured a primitive-bikini-clad Welch prominently – that made her a pop-culture icon. In fact, she also had been in several movies prior to those in small roles. In 1964, she appeared in both "A House Is Not a Home" (which had the popular Burt Bacharach-Hal David tune of the same name as its theme song) and the Elvis Presley vehicle "Roustabout." A year later, she was in "A Swingin' Summer," in which she was noticed by the wife of Saul David – the producer of "Fantastic Voyage." He helped cast her in that sci-fi tale, and her career went on from there. Q: I heard that the game Pictionary is being turned into a TV show. When will that start? – Allie Evans, Grand Junction, Colo. A: The syndicated weekday game premieres Monday, Sept. 12, with Jerry O'Connell presiding over two three-person teams who – in the tradition of the popular home version – create drawings as clues. Guest celebrities will be the captains of the teams. (In your area, Allie, the show will be on KFQX-TV according to the show's website.) Speaking of captains, O'Connell will be a busy fellow this coming TV season, since he'll also co-host the CBS reality series "The Real Love Boat" with wife Rebecca Romijn. It premieres Oct. 5, and all of his new duties are in addition to his ongoing job as a host of the CBS weekday show "The Talk."
