THE TEXAS ETA TRADITION

O
ur founders created Pi Beta Phi as a space for
members to adapt to college life through the
respect and mutual support of friendship while
reaching their full potential. Because of these
trailblazing women, Texas Eta was established
in 1985 and has influenced the lives of hundreds
of women.
For nearly 40 years, Texas Eta has built a
sisterhood upon lifelong friendship and personal
growth with women who are sincere, driven and
active leaders in the community. Our home at
1601 Munson Avenue has been the central place
and home away from home for young women
during their time at Texas A&M University. It
has provided our sisters a classroom to develop
integrity and a space to serve others. In this home,
Pi Beta Phi has built friends and leaders for life.
It is important to provide a safe and competitive
facility for members to succeed for the next
40 years. If we want Texas Eta to continue its
strength within the Panhellenic community at
Texas A&M, we must embark on a renovation
project of our home.
