Directed by actress Elisabeth Rohm ("Law & Order") and scheduled as of this writing for Sept. 17, the fact-inspired "Girl in Room 13" stars Heche as the mother of a young woman targeted for human trafficking. In a recent press conference about the film, Rohm described Heche's performance as "tour de force," and Lifetime executives discussed how committed Heche was to shedding light on the subject matter. Q: I was wondering if the competition series "Let's Make It" will be on again soon. – Barb Alspaugh, via email A: The NBC show, executive-produced and hosted by Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman, is in a sort of limbo after finishing three seasons ... neither renewed nor canceled officially. It's been on the air in a couple of different forms, as a summer show for its first and third rounds, and as a holiday-season offering that aired in a concentrated period for its second round. Time will tell what future it may, or may not, have. Send questions of general interest via email to tvpipeline@gracenote.com. Writers must include their names, cities and states.
