To complete the renovations in a timely manner, the Beta Upsilon Association will take out a loan through the Independent Residence Development Fund (IRDF) upon the commencement of each phase of the renovation project. As pledge payments are collected, payments will be made to the IRDF to eliminate the construction loans. The IRDF and the Beta Upsilon Association have an agreement in place for a Phase I loan with a fixed interest rate of 3%.
