W By Randy Rice While the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce's Fab Lab is serving the community with its cutting-edge resources, about a half hour's drive north, Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is breaking down the barriers between the fine arts and the practical arts with their innovative Integrated Design Lab. "It started with a concept as many things do—an idea that our president, Dr. Jorgenson, had that we should be looking at integrating art and construction design," Dr. Tim Cornelius, Vice President of Career and Workforce Education at NWACC, said. "We set out to build a space these disciplines can share because they complement each other.
