BY JAY BOBBIN What's different about your "Tom Swift" from the book series, or even from the episode of "Nancy Drew" in which he first appeared? First of all, it's been three years since Tom Swift was in Horseshoe Bay (on "Nancy Drew"). So, that takes place in 2019, and we take place in current day. Tom has definitely grown up a little more. When we first meet him, he's still trying to get the meteorite to build the spaceship for his father. At the top of our series, we meet him when he has just completed that spaceship. So, again, he's definitely further along in his journey. We look a little different, I like to say. We're giving a little more grown-man energy this time around, and it's so beautiful. You get to see Tom in his element. You get to see him with his family and his friends, you get to see him in his hometown. You really do open up the fullness of who this man is. Late-night host Jimmy Fallon is an executive producer of this series and will appear in each of the eight one- hour episodes airing during this initial summer run. The premiere episode is dedicated to the late Betty White, who made frequent appearances on the original "Password," which was hosted by her husband, Allen Ludden. InFocus "The Outlaws: Season 2" (Prime Video — season premiere, Aug. 5) The original comedy thriller about a disparate group of lawbreakers thrown together to complete a community service sentence returns for its sophomore round with six new episodes, which picks up a few months after the events of the Season 1 finale and finds the Outlaws haunted by their past in the form of a vicious London drug lord known as the Dean.
