The witnesses, a 20-year-old Red Bluff man, a 19-year-old Red Bluff man and a 19-year- old Red Bluff woman, reported- ly witnessed a pair of men climb over the chain link fence surrounding the yard at 725 Jef- ferson St. When one man saw the wit- nesses, he pointed a pistol at them and threatened them before leaving the area, Sgt. Quintan Ortega said in a press release. No one was injured in the incident. Boy steals purse, woman’s shoes in parking lot A boy with shoulder- length hair reportedly shoved a Red Bluff woman and took her shoes and purse Wednesday night. Twila Cordova, 43, was loading bags into her trunk just before 9 p.m. in the Grocery Out- let parking lot on South Main Street when the boy approached her and pushed her to the ground, Red Bluff Police Sgt. Quintan Ortega said in a press release. The boy then took Cordova’s purse off her shoulder and grabbed her shoes before run- ning north. Cordova believes the boy took her shoes to prevent her from run- ning after him, Ortega said. The boy is described as white, between 14 and 17 years old, stand- ing about five feet, nine inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue shorts and a hat. Police logs also describe his hair as dark and his shorts as baggy and indicate he was wearing a brown bag with a long strap.
