The Road to Success
EPSILON CHAPTER STRENGTHENS THE LEGACY
5
Chapter Goals for 2022-23
1. Reach a Chapter GPA of at least 3.2.
2. Have 75% of the Chapter involved in
extracurricular activities on campus.
3. Fundraise $40K for St. Jude.
E
psilon Chapter has, for many years, found much success at Iowa
State. This year is no different, as we were able to achieve and
accomplish astounding things within the Chapter and the community.
ACADEMICS
Last fall, we were able to achieve a semester GPA of 3.18 and a Chapter
cumulative of 3.25. We were also able to give out around $90,000 in
scholarships to members due to their involvement within the Chapter and
accomplishments with their academics.
EXTRACURRICULARS
Regarding campus involvement, we had over 85% of our members
involved with at least one other organization.
This year also marked the first time in two years that we were able to
send 12 representatives to RLC to learn and network with fellow TKE
Chapters. Another event that hasn't happened in two years was the Red
Carnation Ball. This happened in Kansas City, Missouri, and members
were able to take a break for the weekend, enjoy the city, and spend time
with fellow Fraters and their dates.
Alongside Alpha Delta Pi, our Chapter placed second in Greek Week,
taking home multiple trophies and winning first and second in events
throughout the week.
PHILANTHROPY
We held multiple fundraising events, but our main event was Mac Attack
with Tri Delta. With the fall and spring combined, our Chapter has raised
$20,223. We could not be prouder of our Tekes and look forward to
continuing our philanthropy momentum in the next academic year.
RECRUITMENT
Our Chapter gained 11 new members with a goal of 40 new members this
fall. Overall, Epsilon Chapter has made great strides and is paving the
way to become not just a top house on campus, but also a dominant TKE
Chapter in the nation.
Thank you for your support of the Chapter. We hope you stop by the
Chapter House and check out the amazing renovations!
Yours in the Bond,
