Four years later, thanks to 169 incredible supporters … we've done it! As of this mailing, we've surpassed our goal with $4.53 and counting. We are truly humbled by your commitment. Updates on Our Home Your support in this campaign has allowed us to make our bold renovation dreams a reality. Construction is effectively complete with only a few finishing touches to wrap up as the supply chain allows. We couldn't be more excited for our young Fraters to have this upgraded space, and we know that the feeling is mutual. Next Steps After dedicating several years to this fundraising effort, we will officially close the campaign this year. We will be sending a last- call letter to confirm your capital campaign commitment, eligibility for the donor plaque and, if applicable, your donor plaque listing. This will be the final opportunity to make a first-time or increased commitment to determine your giving society and plaque placement. There Is Still Time to Help Normally, our list of contributors in each issue highlights those alumni who have given $5,000 or more. Since this is the last newsletter that will recognize campaign donors, we want to thank and acknowledge ALL our generous donors by publishing the full list. Want to join these names? Are you at the giving level you want for the permanent plaque? If you have the means to add your name or increase your total commitment, please do so now by using the enclosed pledge form or visiting tinyurl.com/EpsilonTKEOnlineGiving. Your donation will secure our financial footing well into the future and will allow TKE to remain competitive at Iowa State. Thank You, Fraters Thank you to all who have helped surpass our goal. Everything we have accomplished is due to your generosity, and we cannot thank you enough for all the hard work, time, and treasure that you have committed to Epsilon Chapter. This project is ending, but there will be more opportunities on the horizon to support our current and future Tekes! For those who have been watching from afar, please hear us when we say we would be honored to have you join us in this historic moment of our fraternity. As the years have passed, the memories, shared bonds, and lifelong brotherhood have stuck with Bill; he continues to give back to the fraternity any way he can. Whether he's supporting TKE through the Securing Epsilon's Legacy campaign or coordinating events such as Homecoming, he always stays true to his roots. "My relationship with ISU and the fraternity has allowed me to develop lifelong friendships, many networking opportunities, and college memories that seem to get better and better with time," Bill shared. "When I attended ISU's Homecoming in 2008 with a few of my closest Tekes, we toured the Chapter House, went to the tailgate, and overall reminisced on the days of when we attended ISU—social functions, road trips, ski vacations, surviving a summer working for Dan Schmidt '75 E-1197, and more." Bill and his fellow Fraters discussed how special Homecoming was; connecting with friends, embellishing old stories, and making new memories felt like a step back in time. They all began asking themselves why the event wasn't well attended: "Who wouldn't want to spend time with the people that were part of one of the best four years of our life?" From there, Bill was eager to coordinate Homecoming to remind alumni what it means to be a Teke—brotherhood, friendship, and community. Not only is reconnecting with fellow alumni a gratifying and exciting time, but a successful turnout at Homecoming reminds active members of how successful the fraternity truly is and will continue to be. "Homecoming showcases that what you develop over the four years at Epsilon lasts a lifetime," Bill added.
