A Century of Sisterhood at
313 E. Franklin Street
F
rom our founding in 1923 to the present, Epsilon Beta has pursued and attained
high levels of academic achievement along with strong leadership in virtually
every aspect of student life at the University of North Carolina. With nearly 3,000 initiates,
Epsilon Beta has influenced the lives of many women as they have cultivated lifelong
friendships in the process. As we approach our centennial anniversary, we must ensure we
are continuing this legacy of excellence.
Enjoying a past filled with rich tradition and history, Epsilon Beta continues to excel at
UNC. More than ever, sororities play a significant role in the development of young women
on our campus. This academic achievement is crucial in today's competitive world. In
addition to the values taught by our fraternity, our membership develops lifelong lessons
rooted in leadership, organizational, and social skills. Often, these traits are integral to our
personal success and help make us the women we are today. Many Epsilon Beta alumnae
have gone on to be recognized leaders in their communities, states, and country.
With our past and present secure, we look ahead to the future. The following pages detail
sustainable needs for Epsilon Beta's home at 313 E. Franklin Street—a dream we hope you
can support. Restoring our house to its original structural strength will allow Epsilon Beta
to continue transforming lives, just as it has transformed yours.
