CHAPTER ETERNAL
Kathleen "Mimi" Messer Miller '64
entered Chapter Eternal on November 28,
2021. Mimi was a loyal Gamma Zeta sister
and an elementary school teacher. She met
her husband, Patrick, through her career in
education. Mimi also founded a company,
Special Things by Mimi, in 1980 and sold toys,
dolls, and decorations. She enjoyed spending
time with her husband of 51 years and their
family, including walks on the beach and
international travel.

alumna Mary Jane
Jackson Crist '66 was
recently inducted into
the Order of Omega
Hall of Fame at the
University of Arizona.
As an alumna, Mary Jane has served in
leadership positions for Kappa Kappa Gamma
and established the Barrow Foundation UK. In
honor of her late husband, she also formed the
Warren and Mary Jane Crist Foundation.
Mary Jane joins University of Arizona alumni
in the Order of Omega Greek Hall of Fame as
a standout member of the University's Greek
community. She and others provide a shining
example of leadership and community outreach
at the university and throughout Arizona. Mary
Jane joins previous inductee Edith "Edie"
Sayre Auslander '58 to this prestigious group.
Leaving a Legacy!
Recent graduate
Aubrey Thrower '18
isn't just a Gamma Zeta
sister—she provides
a shining example of
involvement on campus
for current and future
sisters. Aubrey was heavily involved with
Greek life, serving as a recruitment counselor
and mentoring freshmen. She also joined Ardor
Dance Company at the University of Arizona as
founding member and selected to the 2021-22
Bobcats Senior Honorary.
As a campus tour guide and Arizona
Ambassador president, Aubrey's numerous
roles show sisters how they can impact their
campus community. Though Aubrey is moving
on from her time at the University of Arizona,
her lasting impact as a Gamma Zeta sister will
be long remembered.
