5 school a pretty smooth ride, and all of us in her advising group are looking forward to seeing what she accomplishes in the future." –Matt Patterson, Advisor Minkyu Jung University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign – Information Science "One of the most amazing things about Min is how he is able to connect with his peers and make everyone feel welcomed in the Seabury community. His leadership and joy will be missed within the advisory next year. I am excited to see where Min's future takes him, and I am confident that he will continue to share his exuberance with the world and make it a better place." –Will Whipple, Advisor Jimin Kim University of California Irvine – Earth System Sciences "There can only be one Jimin! He is not the usual. He is a uniquely wonderful soul. He speaks softly and has much to say. If you really want to know him, you have to listen and watch closely. Jimin is many things: fun, vivacious, bold, fiercely loyal to his friends, and a talented soccer player. Good fortune and success are ahead for you. I know you've been waiting for this, and now your time has come. Enjoy!" –Amy Meyers, Advisor Jonah Kim University of Kansas/ Cornell University "I remember Jonah well as a fresh-faced little sixth grader, and he's matured into an accomplished young scholar and athlete who has the admiration of all the other students in our group. My favorite memory of Jonah will probably be going to the Leadership Challenge Event in Topeka where he took charge and led his team to a greater success than they had hoped for. I will sorely miss his presence next year!" –Sonja Czarnecki, Advisor Elizabeth Mangan University of Kansas – School of Architecture and Design "Elizabeth's calm, easygoing nature is a wonderfully positive influence on the other students around her. In our advising group and in my Space Science elective, she's never been shy to say and do whatever she feels is right and, therefore, keep the whole learning process as honest as possible. Although I haven't known her for long, I can confidently say that our advising group will not be the same without her." –Rupert Randall, Advisor Marco Moreno JCCC – Computer Science "Marco jumped right into the Seabury community, participating in basketball. We've enjoyed Marco's twinkling eyes and positive attitude. Marco, we didn't have you for long, but were blessed to have you this year, and will miss you when you move on to your next chapter in life!" –Laura Porter, Advisor Hannah Motsinger Baker University – Exercise Science and Basketball "Hannah is a natural leader. When it came time for our advising group to make a Halloween Jack-o- Lantern, she took charge with grace and purpose, coordinating everyone's ideas with the efficiency and skill of a Seabury teacher! We wish you well in your future, Hannah. You will be missed!" –Rupert Randall, Advisor Jaxon Patterson University of Kansas – Business "J-Pat! He's the true mastermind behind our pumpkins, our best pranks, and our yearbook photos, and I will always appreciate his tendency to treat every advising activity as a high-stakes athletic competition. He is happy to share his opinion, yet he is always willing to hear yours. He's an under-the-radar scholar and a loyal friend. Jaxon, keep betting the maximum whenever you have the chance, in blackjack and in life. Let's go!" –Michael Pulsinelli, Advisor Maisy Rader Saint Louis University – Environmental Science "Maisy has many gifts, but my favorite is the fact that I always feel calm when she is around. She has the ability to make everything seem like it will work out. She speaks not loudly, but with knowledge. She has a great laugh. We will miss her terribly." –Doug Weaver, Advisor Mia Ramirez-Spates MiraCosta College "Mia Ramirez-Spates is a model of kindness and initiative. Throughout her Seabury career, she has shown that she can overcome obstacles and tackle challenges with amazing grace. You are a beautiful person through and through, Mia, and we cannot wait to hear what you decide to do in the future! Stay true to yourself and keep smiling!" –Kara Schrader, Advisor Luka Simac University of Kansas "Luka has a giant heart that is full of passion for life, basketball, family, and others. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for him. No doubt he will be a great success no matter where his path in life takes him!" –Don Meier, Advisor Gobind Singh University of Kansas – Mechanical Engineering "This young man is one of the most genuine, kind, loving, and respectful people one will ever meet. As a prefect, Gobind has shown his ability to lead by example and take on the role of guiding others to strive to be a Seabury student. Our advising group, and this school, will miss him dearly as he takes on the world. We are so proud of you and excited to see what the future holds! We love you, Gobind!" –Brian Rios, Advisor Brooke Spurlock Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology – Computer Engineering and Soccer "Brooke's excellence on the soccer field and development have been vital to the team's success, and her diligence in the classroom has led to another successful academic year. Good luck in your next chapter, Brooke!" –Will Whipple, Advisor Ethan Tangpornsin University of Kansas – Medicine "Ethan, it has been such a joy having you in my advising group and seeing you grow as a student, a musician, an actor, and as a person. Your ability to challenge yourself and your compassion to help others to grow as you have will take you far and will continuously present you with new opportunities. We'll miss having you in our advising group next year. Best of luck!" –James LaRocca, Advisor Elena Weber Tulane University – Public Health, minor in Public Relations "Elena's successes in volleyball and in life are a product of her sense of personal responsibility, hard work, and sheer determination. She has developed a steely resolve in the face of adversity and continues to march forward when the cards are seemingly stacked against her. Her perseverance is admirable, and her positivity shines brightly. Elena will achieve great things in college and beyond." –Eric Nelson, Advisor Josh Williams JCCC "Josh is a quiet soul, but quiet water runs deep. Not only has Josh grown taller through the years but slightly more talkative with the group. One of my favorite things is to see Josh smile. I can't wait to see what Josh becomes as an adult!" –Sara Asher, Advisor Neo Yeom University of Texas at Austin "Neo, you are not only awesome, but you are also amazing, dedicated, caring, and brilliant. You have been a stoic rock in this advising group, and we will never forget you. More than all of this, however, is that you are also patient in dealing with all of the crazy antics of this advising group. You are going to do amazing things in life, Neo. It is all there for you—take it!" –Bill Gollier, Advisor
