On behalf of the entire chapter, thank you to all the alumnae who came back to celebrate the centennial. It was a wonderful weekend and we enjoyed meeting you. I am most proud to share with you just a few of the many accomplishments of the spring semester. Academic Achievement Alpha Nu's all-chapter GPA from fall 2021 was 3.49. We had 41 members who achieved a 4.0, and many more were included on the Dean's List. The women of this sorority worked incredibly hard to maintain this high standard of academic achievement. Our country's future nurses, journalists, businesswomen, agriculturalists, economists, teachers and many more professionals are currently studying in our amazing facility—learning from the sisters around them and challenging themselves in the best ways possible. Diversity and Inclusion Efforts In the second year of having a vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion on our executive board, we have made great strides. We celebrated MacDowell Month with arts programs. We acknowledged Black History Month with educational presentations and movie nights, and we encouraged members to attend events and programming that were available through the university. In March, we recognized Women's History Month. For all of these, we highlighted members of each community, and our chapter members said they were inspired by these individuals. We are continuing to implement more educational programs, speakers and events to improve our chapter in this area. Philanthropic Efforts April was a busy month with several philanthropic events to raise money for our beneficiary, True North of Columbia. We decided to bring back Swishin' for a Mission, a three-on-three basketball tournament held at the Mizzou Recreation Center. Members served as tournament referees, cheerleaders and supporters for our generous teams in the Mizzou community. We were glad to resume this event, which was canceled for the past two years due to COVID. We also had a karaoke event, raising $1,950 for True North. At the end of the month, we recognized "These Hands Don't Hurt Week" with profit shares, Denim Day and Alpha Chi Carnival. So far in 2022, we have raised $12,070 for True North and the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation. Homecoming, Greek Week and RAMS In fall 2021, Alpha Chi and Theta Chi placed third overall in Mizzou's Homecoming. We also participated in Rockin' Against Multiple Sclerosis during February. We won first place for fundraising and first place in the Rock-It championship competition. This was the fourth time in five years the chapter placed first in this category. Finally, Alpha Chi and Phi Delta Theta placed third overall in Greek Week 2022. The theme was Superheroes. It is an honor to update you all on the accomplishments of Alpha Nu. Thank you for your continuous support. Please never hesitate to come visit.
