The Perch THE EPSILON BEta ChapTER OF CHI OMEGA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL SUMMER 2022 W elcome to our Epsilon Beta newsletter, The Perch! We are thrilled to be connecting with all of our Epsilon Beta alumnae. We look forward to our newsletter serving as a wonderful opportunity to share news and stay in touch. Our Chi Omega friendships are a gift that last a lifetime. UNC's 2022 spring graduation has given our Chi Omega sorority another alumnae class of exceptionally talented women. Thank you for the time and dedication you have given to Epsilon Beta Chapter during your collegiate experience. We want to remind you that there are many opportunities to stay connected as alumnae. Please reach out to Epsilon Beta if you would like to volunteer for our chapter. Help is always welcome on our Chi Omega Advisory Board and House Corporation Board, as well as with recruitment and alumnae celebrations. Volunteering is a glorious way to stay connected to a sisterhood of women who cherish your friendship. It is an honor to have such an outstanding and loyal Epsilon Beta sisterhood. When we graduate and leave the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, we leave with sincere intentions of keeping in touch with our sisters. They are in our thoughts and close to our hearts always, as we will forever cherish the Chi O friendships that we have nurtured through the years. However, we miss sisters with whom we have fallen out of touch. We wonder where they are living, how they are doing, and think about all the memories we shared with each other. Epsilon Beta Chapter was founded in 1923, which means Chi Omega will be celebrating our 100th year on UNC's campus in 2023. Due to our tremendous longevity at UNC, the House Corporation Board decided to commit to an alumnae relations program to keep us connected. Included in Epsilon Beta's alumnae program will be a newsletter you will receive twice yearly. Your newsletter will contain alumnae news, information on upcoming events, reports on various Epsilon Beta activities, spotlights on sisters, and current lists of undergraduate sisters. Once a year, we will send out a biographical update sheet that allows alumnae to update the information we have on record. In fact, many of you have received this mailing already and we encourage you to return it to us as soon as you can. The contact information updates are a vital tool in staying connected with one another. We are excited about hearing from you. Please contact us with your desire to volunteer, share alumnae news, or ideas for articles. Whenever you are in Chapel Hill, please come visit your Chi Omega sorority house. You are always welcome! Please contact our house director, Teresa Schlotterer, at (919) 818- 2335 if you would like to arrange alumnae group visits.
