Well, the way I look at it is for me, it's like when you go in the studio and people kind of just let ideas flow. That's how my design style is. ... People's homes talk to me, you know? Items in places talk to me, so the home would lend itself to where the design goes. And I got into design because I had a flood in my house. ... We had a flood on the top level of the house, and it flooded all the way to the bottom, of course, so we had to gut the house. I went through three contractors and in the middle of all of that, I met Anitra (Mecadon, his co-star) – 'cause I really liked her design and her style. And having to do my house, it made me really fall in love with design. And Anitra's coaching, as well, saying, "You know, you really got an eye for this. You could do this." And I got into it, and here we are today.
