5 A lpha Nu has always been known for its resilience in times of crisis, and the COVID-19 pandemic is no exception. Our academics have remained one of our greatest strengths this past semester, with an all-house GPA of 3.64 and our newly initiated freshmen securing an impressive 3.75. Six of our sophomores were admitted to the highly competitive Jennett Finance Scholars Program, where they will pursue internships and jobs in competitive markets and garner heightened networking skills. We also continue to demonstrate our extracurricular prowess as a chapter. is spring, we participated in the Rock Chalk Revue variety show, where we partnered with Kappa Alpha eta and secured two awards: Best Original Song and Best Male Ensemblist, awarded to Jackson Blizzard '23. We donated plasma for our philanthropy, Nightmare on Tennessee Street, and started a new philanthropic project, Waffles for Wish. We partnered with Chi Omega for this new event; attendees purchased tickets to come and make their own waffles to support the Make-A-Wish foundation. Following the rollout of vaccines and decreased restrictions, the chapter's operations have regained a sense of normalcy. We were fortunate enough to host the 138th annual Turkey Pull back in the chapter house. I cannot overstate the unity this event brings to the members of this chapter, especially by gathering in our proper home again. Now, aer working tirelessly all year to perform well academically, the men of Alpha Nu are more joyful than ever to celebrate the end of another successful semester. Brothers were elated to return to the KU campus in the new year, and the spring semester has been a dynamic one. Upperclassmen are starting their professional lives or exploring careers of interest, and underclassmen continue to cherish their newfound tenure in this great house. As the world continues to heal, I grow more optimistic and excited for the future of this house. e men of Alpha Nu have always been steadfast in preserving our great traditions, culture, and internal social fabric while carefully adapting as the world changes around them. I am hopeful for the future of the house and excited to see these incredible young men make an impact on their community.
