Sigma Chi 3 A s the university lifts pandemic mandates, the Zeta Psi brotherhood is at an all-time high. Brothers are beyond excited for the chapter house renovations, but also are feeling a little bittersweet. Regardless, brotherhood and morale have been exceptional as brothers make the most of the last semester with this house as is. Recruitment went smoothly, led by Recruitment Chairmen Evan Phelps '25 and Kyle Dressman '26. The week consisted of engaging events like dodgeball, 3-on-3 basketball, an alumni dinner, card games, bowling, and more. In the end, we were thrilled to bring in 12 new members. Dom DiSalle '22 and his magister crew did a phenomenal job of guiding these new members through the orientation process and showing them what it means to be a part of our order. Internally, our brotherhood is becoming stronger by the day through chapter meetings, development opportunities, and socials. Our semester has been filled with plenty of fun, highlighted by our Spring Formal trip to Chicago. Our Social Chairman, Cameron Oganowski '23, did a fantastic job planning this trip for over 160 people and planning many other events throughout the semester to keep morale soaring. We are happy to announce that we have had a record-breaking year in philanthropy and are quickly closing in on $50,000 raised for Derby Days (less than $1,000 away at the time of writing). Zeta Psi is proud of and grateful for the countless time and effort put into this campaign by our Derby Days chairmen, Ryan Wilkins '25 and Evan Phelps '25. These brothers worked so hard to help our chapter achieve this awesome accomplishment, and I know they will carry it across the finish line. Beyond the chapter house, our brothers excel both in the classroom and on campus. Zeta Psi earned a fall GPA of 3.39, which was the second-highest GPA among all 23 IFC chapters. We've also had countless brothers step up in other on-campus organizations—most notably Matias Morita '24 as president of the Student Advisory Committee on the University Budget, and Cameron Weber '23 as president of Interfraternity Council. As the semester ends, we wish the best of luck to our stellar graduating class of 2022, who has done so much to promote brotherhood within our chapter. I am confident that they will continue to show the world what it means to be a true Sigma Chi. This is a huge event for us and typically raises over $5,000 each year.
