The newest members of our executive team! PAGE 3 BETA THETA PI T he Zeta Phi Chapter has continued its reputation of excellence throughout the spring semester. Our members are highly involved on campus through clubs, philanthropy, and athletics. Our new members were initiated on February 5, and their pledge class earned a fall GPA of 3.54; our full chapter achieved a 3.44. Many brothers are working with prestigious programs across campus. Clay Van Eaton '25 was selected into the ODK Distinguished Top 14 Freshmen, which is an outstanding accomplishment to receive. Joseph Thomas '24 has been admitted into the Sinclair School of Nursing after a difficult application and interview process. Fletcher Orr '24, Cade Koehly '23, Clayton Thompson '24, and Spencer Foster '23 have all been accepted into the Allen Angel Capital Education (AACE) program. Dylan Kay '24 has been named managing director of AACE, external vice president of the University of Missouri Investment Group (UMIG), and the IFC vice president of finance. Lastly, Ryan Klosterman '24, Fletcher Orr, and Alex Venturella '24 have all been admitted into the accounting program at the University of Missouri. On January 29, we paired up with Alpha Tau Omega for a philanthropy hockey game, in which we raised over $10,000 for the BeStrong29 Foundation. This foundation supports youth athletes with serious spinal cord injuries. Zeta Psi is organizing a similar philanthropy lacrosse tournament in late April with Delta Tau Delta, Alpha Tau Omega, and Phi Delta Theta. Caden Eggling '24 is participating in "Fight Night Mizzou," a philanthropy boxing tournament to raise money for pediatric cancer research. While intramurals have yet to start up again, we have still exceeded in athletics by entering teams into sorority philanthropy events. Our team for Chi Omega's "Swishes for Wishes" basketball tournament climbed their way into the top eight out of 30-plus teams, and we also made the top eight in Delta Gamma's "Hoops for Troops" tournament. Intramural soccer and basketball begin in the coming weeks, and we believe our teams will be extremely competitive with high hopes of earning first place. We look forward finishing the school year strong! There are lots of exciting and incredible things happening in the near future for Zeta Phi.
