Lambda Today Christian Reveland #1838 Noble Ruler 2022 Jordan, Minn. Animal Science and Agriculture What does being a member of Alpha Gamma Rho mean to you? Being a member of Alpha Gamma Rho means more to me than I ever thought it would. As a recruit, I saw the house as an opportunity to get to know people around campus and easily become involved. After my initiation, I learned that this was not only true, but being a brother also means so much more. Alpha Gamma Rho has given me a college home and surrounded me with young men who push me to continuously improve and be the best version of myself. Why should alumni support Lambda today? Alumni should support Lambda now because we have a group of young men in the house that are driven to make Alpha Gamma Rho the premier fraternity at the University of Minnesota. As a live- in, I see how united this house is from freshman to senior. Overall, the morale of the house is extremely high, and the desire to be the premier fraternity at the University of Minnesota in all aspects—academically, socially, and in service—is apparent. Conner Holthaus #1817 Noble Ruler 2021 Eden Valley, Minn. Agricultural Communication What does being a member of Alpha Gamma Rho mean to you? Joining an organization that is both social and professional has helped me develop those skills a fine young man should have. It has also allowed me to build some of the greatest friendships that I will carry throughout life. Once I graduate, I won't be leaving a house, I will be starting a new journey with my found family's support. I will also be taking with me those leadership skills and my new sense of social identity. Why should alumni support Lambda today? We are now in a time when the world and the University of Minnesota needs agriculture more than ever. The gap between farm and fork continues to grow bigger as time moves on, and with that, a smaller number of production agriculture students at the university level. If we can make our already outstanding organization even more appealing to join, we will have an everlasting staple here in the Twin Cities.
