These women have done an excellent job leading our chapter, guiding our sisters, and making us proud. During the fall 2021 semester, most of us were able to return to in-person classes for the first me since the pandemic began. Ge ng back into the classroom was an adjustment, but we embraced our long-awaited return with the joy of interac ng with our classmates face- to-face. Despite going back and forth from in-person to virtual educa on, our members worked diligently to meet their academic goals, and they remain dedicated to their studies this semester. With the ease of COVID-19 restric ons, we had the opportunity to gather in February for our first social event of the spring semester, Cupid's Crush. Our social chairwoman, Madeline Dalke '20, did an amazing job planning the fun event. We enjoyed Moms/ Special Guests Weekend at the beginning of March, planned by Avarie Honkomp '20. Everyone loved gathering at the chapter house for bouquet-making, refreshments, and conversa on, followed by a fun evening and raffle at the Oread. Addi onally, our seniors were honored as they were awarded "Senior Superla ves," as well as being serenaded by the Beta Theta Pi choir. We are looking forward to our spring formal, Crescent Ball, on Saturday, April 9. Our annual philanthropy event, Moonball, which benefits Girls on the Run, will take place on Saturday, April 30. Bailey Vaupell '20, philanthropy chairwoman, is elated to oversee this event. Sigma Chapter is pleased to welcome three new members to our sisterhood this semester: Camrynn Oates '21, Molly Schumm '21, and Anna Henningsen '21. In addi on, Madelyn Esquibel '21 is joining us from Beta Chi Chapter at Wichita State University. Our growing sisterhood has several events and opportuni es to look forward to. Now that we can bid farewell to COVID-19 restric ons, we are thrilled to make up for lost me as a chapter—returning to life as we once knew it, bonding as a sisterhood, and making an impact in our community. We would like to thank our alumnae for their con nuous support and for being such an essen al part of crea ng the sisterhood we are all able to experience. The doors of 1339 are always open, and we would love to see you next me you visit!
