To this day, he remains close and continues to play golf with a handful of brothers every week during golf season. "My SigEp friends and I have shared marriages, divorces, raising our kids, and now grandchildren," Ken said. "SigEp felt right for me from the very beginning." Ken had no idea that down the road, his own family would go on to share in the SigEp bond with him. His sons, Chris Krickhahn, Missouri State University '21 and Jake Krickhahn, Missouri State University '21, grew up seeing their dad spend time with his brothers from Sigma Phi Epsilon every week. Chris and Jake had no doubts when it came to joining Greek life and were ecstatic to find SigEp on their campus. "That's what I wanted for myself—lifelong friends," Chris said. "Luckily, that's what I got through my own SigEp experience." "MO Eta Chapter was full of great guys, and I knew I would be at home there," Jake said. "They were committed to a positive fraternal experience and the collective advancement of all their members." During their time as active members, both Chris and Jake jumped right in to help their chapter. Chris served as president of MO Eta Chapter and Jake held several positions on the executive board. "I am so proud of my sons," Ken said. "They not only joined SigEp, but also became leaders in the fraternity." Since graduating, Jake and Chris have joined their father in the pursuit of bettering Missouri Alpha Chapter. Chris serves as a mentor to the vice president of recruitment and Jake mentors the vice president of member development. They are passionate about making sure other young men have the same opportunity for a positive and life-changing experience, just like they did. "I have been involved in supporting Missouri Alpha since my appointment as Balanced Man steward earlier this year," Jake said. "I am always so impressed with the caliber of the undergraduate leaders from Missouri Alpha." As a family, the three men enjoy attending SigEp events together, including the Carlson Leadership Academy and the National Conclave. Going to the national convention with his sons was a highlight for Ken. "I met so many SipEps from around the country that knew Jake and Chris," Ken said. "You never get tired of hearing nice things about your sons from other SigEps." "I am very proud to be a SigEp," Ken added. "Sigma Phi Epsilon has been an important part of my life for a very long time. I am so proud that Jake and Chris are SipEps, and they will continue to be leaders in the fraternity for many years."
